NYC, No Age, and October

I started a brand new blog: BEHIND THE SLIME

October is one of my favorite months. Probably because of Halloween and Autumn. These days October seems to be a very productive month. Everybody I talked to had cool stuff going on. I was like "damn". So I tagged along with No Age to a few events, chatted with Spike Jonze and Ed Templeton briefly, and am now developing a pilot episode of a web show. It's top secret, I can't say any more for now but here's a few glimpses of my October.
here's a random clip I shot of No Age at the Eagle Rock Music Fest on Oct 3

I just uploaded it a couple days ago and found some very kind words on Spike Jonze's Where The Wild Things Are blog. Stoked. CHECK IT OUT:

This just in:  SUNDANCE calls TOTION "Prehysterical"...
Mika Miko "Totion" (on youtube)

Here's my new video for Mika Miko called TOTION.
This is the second music video I've directed and I have two more in pre-production. It was really fun working with Mika Miko and building dino masks with my friend Clark Walter.

Here's a random Totion T-shirt design (?)I found from someone I don't even know thru Google. It's pretty rad, I want one if they're real

PS. Here are some new photos I've shot lately. ENJOY.

PS: NEWS: I had my photos STOLEN from an art show at the Smell with Mika Miko on May 9th. The stolen images were of Spike Jonze and No Age. I don't care that much, it's actually kinda funny, but I spent a wad of cash printing those up 14x20 on foamboard; other photos got damaged at that show and another show (Nothing Special Fest in Compton) and I guess the moral of the story is that punk rock is about fucking shit up, take it as you will, and know your audience.

TOTION is a wrap

I recently directed a music video for Mika Miko called "Totion". It was a blast. My friend Clark Walter designed the dinosaur masks, Brian Lichtenberg outfitted the band, lots of people helped out, and we shot super 16mm. Here are a few glimpses (video out in a week or so). ENJOY.
